Suriya

Named after the Thai word for sun, Suriya is a new addition to Arnaud Nazare-Aga's Eleph'Pop collection — Thailand's national symbol reimagined in vibrant pop art.

This standing elephant commands attention. Bold starburst rays and concentric circles radiate from the face, while flame-like waves ripple across the back and flanks. The dominant red base anchors an explosion of turquoise, yellow, purple, lime green, and cobalt blue — outlined in confident black lines that give every detail definition.

The Eleph'Pop collection draws on the deep cultural significance of the elephant in Thailand: strength, wisdom, royalty, and protection. Suriya channels that symbolism through a solar lens — light, energy, and warmth made tangible in sculpture form.

Each piece is crafted at PAJ'Art Studio in Bangkok using resin and fiberglass casting, with eight or more layers of hand-applied acrylic paint and six coats of lacquer sanded by hand between each layer. Available in six sizes from tabletop to monumental. Certificate of authenticity signed by the artist included.
